LADG reimagined the Murillo Family Observatory with a refined 2,300 sq. ft. multipurpose addition, enhancing this iconic teaching and research facility perched atop Badger Hill. The original 2,100 sq. ft. observatory serves as a distinguished hub for student learning and astronomical exploration.
The design introduces an elegantly integrated multipurpose room and storage space, carefully nestled between the observatory’s telescope towers. Every architectural gesture was crafted to harmonize with the observatory’s cutting-edge technical infrastructure while elevating the spatial experience.
